The Guild of the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra is proud to provide scholarships every year to the Illinois Summer Youth Music (ISYM) camp. ISYM is a series of weeklong programs in June and July at the University of Illinois for talented young musicians from grades 5–11.
Each spring, the Guild holds scholarship auditions open to all Champaign County students. The Guild awards 5 partial-tuition scholarships for students grades 5–8 and 5 partial-tuition scholarships for senior high school students. All qualified students who play orchestral instruments (voice and acting entries are not eligible) and meet the eligibility requirements in the ISYM Application Form (available at https://music.illinois.edu/engagement/isym/application/) may audition for a scholarship.
