Beautiful Quilts for Music Lovers!
One of CUSO’s wonderful supporters, KT, made two quilts for CUSO’s 60th anniversary season, giving you an opportunity to win a beautiful handmade commemorative music-themed quilt!
You will have an opportunity to buy quilt raffle tickets at CUSO concerts and other selected events. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or five tickets for $20 and will be sold prior to the performance, during intermission, and immediately following the performance in the lobby of the Krannert Center. We request that you write your name and phone number on your raffle ticket(s), so we have a way to contact you in the event that you are drawn as the winner!

Descriptions of the Quilts
These stunning quilts are approximately 70″ by 70″ ± 1″. The core (batting) is made of 80% cotton/20% polyester and everything else is 100% cotton. They can be machine washed cold and tumble dried medium (do not bleach). They were created using home machine quilting with free-motion technique hand appliqué diamonds (the pattern was modified from McCall’s Quilting July/August 2015 pattern). The quilts are very similar, but the Dress Rehearsal quilt has a cream-colored background with a floral pattern, whereas the Diamond Jubilee quilt has a white background with a treble clef pattern. The Dress Rehearsal quilt has a violin within one of the central diamond shapes, whereas the Diamond Jubilee quilt has a piano within one of the central diamond shapes. One other difference between the quilts is the different fabric used in the triangular shapes. Take a look at pictures of these fabulous quilts:
