The Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra (CUSO) is the premier professional orchestra in central Illinois. Led by Maestro Steven Larsen, the CUSO is dedicated to enhancing our community through exceptional live performance, music education and public engagement.

For one-half century, the CUSO has presented acclaimed performances from the finest local musicians and visiting guest artists. The CUSO has the unique distinction of being the professional orchestra in residence at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Symphony at Sunset is back on Labor Day weekend! Bring the entire family for an evening of great music under the stars, with fireworks and lots of fun.
The evening starts with a stirring salute from the CUSO to local heroes: our men and women in uniform. After intermission, get ready to enjoy music from your favorite cartoons—from Looney Tunes to the Simpsons.

Recommended for all ages.

Not available with subscription. VIP Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.
General Admission: $20 per car (gate opens at 5 p.m. pay at the gate)
